Q: Why should I trust PriceIt Software to meet my Shop Management needs?

A: There are many reasons why PriceIt is trusted by shops of all sizes, form folks operating out of there house too multi-million-dollar mega plants.  We pride ourselves on providing an amazing product and strive to be one of the most responsive and down to earth companies you will ever work with.

Q: Why Should I even bother using software to manage my business?

A: You work hard to put out the best product you can produce. As you know – there’s a lot of work that goes into running a shop and just one mistake can cost you profit margins on several jobs.

Q: I just use paper and it’s been working for me – why not keep doing that?

A: Paper can be misplaced, thrown away, or destroyed. Also – if you ever want to sell your company you’ll receive far more money on your investment if you have a database in place. No one wants to buy a box full of papers.

Q: Why can’t I just buy PriceIt Software? Why a monthly subscription?

A: The one-off sales model no longer works in today’s technology-driven landscape. Changes happen very quickly and without adequate tech support, you will be left holding the bag if something goes wrong. We believe in a customer-centric software experience where we can personally attend to your needs every single day. It’s about the relationship – not just revenue.

Q: Does PriceIt integrate with Quickbooks?

A: Yes – PriceIt integrates with both the *desktop and online versions of Quickbooks.

Q: Why not just use QB?

A: While Quickbooks is an amazing tool to manage money – it’s not setup to handle the intricacies of running an apparel decorating business. PriceIt was designed from the ground up to be the perfect solution for any size shop.

Q: Does PriceIt work with Mac computers?

A: Yes – PriceIt works very well on Macs. The only limitation is QuickBooks desktop on the Mac is not supported. 

Q: Why is there a setup fee? What am I getting for my money?

A: A setup fee is in place to pay for installation of supporting files, database provisioning, and initial training/tech support. Also – we’ve found that people that pay a setup fee are more likely to begin using PriceIt immediately instead of not taking the time they need for learning and implementation.

Q: How much are additional users?

A: Additional users are $20/mo.

Q: Does PriceIt have a way to schedule production?

A: Yes. There is an intuitive production scheduler in PriceIt.

Q: How long would it take to get setup and running?

A: Usually within the hour.

Q: How many tech support calls are we allowed per month?

A: As many as you need. There are no limits to the number of times you an call us in a month.

Q: Does PriceIt include vendor info and pricing?

A: Yes – PriceIt includes catalog data from several vendors.

Q: Are there any contracts I have to sign?

A: Nope. We don’t believe in contracts. We prefer to earn your business every month instead of locking you into a contract.

Q: What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

A: Your data is yours. If you ever decide to cancel your subscription you will need to export your data or print your invoices. We will store your data in an off-server location in case you come back but access to your database will be deactivated.

Q: Can I downgrade from my version to a lower-tiered version?

A: The short answer is no. It’s quite tricky to downgrade someone and requires hours of database reconstruction.

Q: Can I upgrade my version to PriceIt to Light Plus, CORE, or Enterprise?

A: Yes! Just give us a call.

Q: How do I back my data up?

A: You don’t have to. We take care of that for you. Each server has several drives in a RAID configuration and is backed up off site as well.

Q: Can I add or remove premium features?

A: Absolutely – just give us a call and we’ll take care of everything.

Q: How do we learn to use PriceIt? What do you provide for training?

A: There are tons of training videos provided as well as written tutorials to help you. We are also just a phone call away. We’re more than happy to spend as much time as we need to ensure you know how to use PriceIt and answer all of your questions.
